In this project, I explored whether the concept of "infinity" is possible in art and science;whether anything actually exists that can remain the same forever. I used a photocopier to "clone" a microscope photograph of a stem cell, which can divide infinitely, one by one. What I saw was that each copy varied from the one before until the image of the stem cell had completely disappeared. I folded these copies and stacked them in three layers so I could re-photograph the transformation and development process in one object. The final picture is composed of an artificial construction, scientific photography and the investigation process that created the unity of art, technology and nature through curiosity and the search for new possibilities.
